By-Election;Propaganda Will not Save PDP From Failing: Aba Businessman Smacked.
Following the recent propaganda released by the Peoples Democratic Party, indicting Dr Alex Otti and the Honorable Minister Uchechukwu Sampson Ugah on the choice of the APC candidate for the upcoming by-election in Aba North and South, Mr Osinachi Agomuo, a businessman and member of the all Progressive Congress in Aba have lashed on the PDP not to depend on propaganda to win an election. In his words the time for propaganda is over and propaganda will not in anyway grow the constituency. In his words he stressed that the PDP should display to the public their reasons to be elected.
“Am a businessman and a member of the APC and I have the capacity to speak and air my views at a time like this, given an opportunity to elect again, a representative at the Federal. I was in APGA and worked with Hon. Ossy Prestige because of his personality and good will to the people. He’s a good man, May His soul rest in peace. The Propaganda by the PDP to deceive the people is too cheap. Mascot Kalu went through due process of which certified him a ticket to run under the APC that all stakeholders of the party in the state upheld. Dr Alex Otti and Hon. Uchechukwu Sampson Ugah are both in support of any candidate certified by the constitution guiding the APC. Maybe the PDP should tell the people how their candidate Mr Chimaobi Obisike emerged. He was hand picked and selected not because of his pedigree but because they want to add Aba North and South into their control box and they have nothing to offer, no vision”. He said.
Speaking further, he gave his reasons why he left APGA for the APC. He anchored his reasons on quality representation, He said.
“I told you earlier the pedigree, personality and the goodwill of Hon. Ossy Prestige to the people of Aba North and South Federal constituency. The PDP did all they could to drift victory away from Hon. Ossy Prestige but because the people were with him, the PDP failed in their attempts. See, let me tell you something; If elections are not marred with Irregularities, if placed on a balance, for a free and credible election as it should be, the PDP can not in anyways win any election here in Aba because they have nothing to show for the years power had been under their umbrella. We held on to Hon. Ossy Prestige because he has that vision to make Aba inhabitable. Putting preference on the three people presented by the APC, APGA and the PDP, Hon. Mascot Uzor Kalu has also that features seen in Hon. Ossy Prestige. Mr Destiny Nwagwu of APGA does not have that capacity to what Hon. Ossy Prestige exhibited and there’s no thinking of the PDP candidate, Mr Chimaobi Obisike because even the man we have, representing us in the Senate, Sen. Enyinaya Abaribe, has nothing to show for, in Sixteen (16) years at the Federal, not even to facilitate a kilometer of road. The government led by Okezie Ikpazu that is suppose to build roads and develop his people and region had been sleeping for over 6 years now on the seat. If he can’t develop his place as a governor, is it my street road that he will think of? Of course there’s no choice in them. Aba deserves good roads owing to the revenue generated from this constituency.
“With what the APC is doing in South East and in Abia state, in the senatorial district of Dr Orji Uzor Kalu, we can see that as a former governor, he’s set to bring sanity to what they, in the PDP had made wrong. The Federal government had intervened in the Enugu, Aba, Port Harcourt road, the government of the APC haven gone through inspection of the power plant site, is set to revive the over eight (8) power plants abandoned by the PDP in Abia North, the world bank sponsored project of N27b Ngwa road works, that Okezie Ikpazu the governor is claiming to be state project to boast his profile on performance. We thank God for the person on Dr Orji Uzor Kalu for making this exposure. What about other loans, grants and intervention funds given to state governors by the Federal government? the Paris funds, the bail out funds that should aid the payments of workers salaries, the over 19 road constructed and under construction within a year of Senator Orji Uzor Kalu in his constituency. We have every reasons to put our ballots for the APC with Hon. Mascot Uzor Kalu for a replication of these kind of development. So you see, I left APGA for the APC because of the pedigree and the caliber of the candidates presented by the big weight political parties”. He concluded.
