Let’s Keep Hope Alive, Speaker Gbajabiamila Urges Nigerians

The Speaker, House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila has called on Nigerians to remain resolute and keep their hopes alive for the country to overcome its developmental and other challenges.
He made the call in a New Year message signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Lanre Lasisi.
He urged Nigerians to keep their hopes alive and remain positive this year as the country passes through challenging and trying times.
The Speaker urged them to use the experiences of year 2020 and work towards a better 2021.
The Speaker said he was optimistic that the year 2021 holds a lot of positives for Nigeria and Nigerians, hence the need for the citizens to remain positive.
Gbajabiamila also called for continuous unity and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians, saying “we have no other country than Nigeria; this is the only country we can call ours.”
“It is my hope and prayer that the year 2021 will be better than all the preceding years of our nation’s history.
“In this New Year, let’s remain resolute and determined in our nationhood. Yes, we may be going through challenges as a nation, but with our collective determination, we shall overcome,” Gbajabiamila said.
Also, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ahmed Idris Wase, has urged Nigerians to pray and have faith in their leaders.
He made the call n a New Year message signed by his media aide, Umar Muhammad Puma on Thursday.
