Distinguished senator Orji Uzor Kalu, the Senator representing the good people of Abia North senatorial zone is still rolling out caterpillars across communities in Abia North, with the flag off of various road construction across communities in Abia North namely
1.Construction of phase 2 umuasua road in Isuikwuato LGA with Asphalt and Drainage
2.Construction of Echiele Otamkpa road in Isuikwuato LGA with drainage and Asphalt
3. Construction of Uturu Township road with Drainage and Asphalt
4.Construction of Ndi Agwu Abam rural road with drainage and Asphalt
The above roads which were recently flagged off by the Distinguished senator ably represented by Barr Victor Etie his legislative Aide on the 4th day of April 2023, are presently ongoing and are at the various stages of completion.
The Uturu Township road is presently undergoing asphalting as of the time of filling these reports, while the other roads are moving with the speed of light and are 70 percent completed
It is imperative to note that Distinguished senator Orji Uzor Kalu who has indeed redefined legislature by his numerous projects has extended his caterpillar revolution beyond Abia North, with the flag off and Construction of the following roads which are presently ongoing.
1. Construction of MCC to shoe line Ariaria Market Aba with Asphalt and Drainage
2. Construction of Ariaria Market Aba, from Samek Junction to Industrial line Aba
3.Construction of Uratta rural roads, isialangwa with Asphalt and Drainage
The above roads outside Abia North are almost 90 percent completed and are presently ongoing
In a time were other politicians are still recovering from the aftermath of the Elections, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has rolled up his sleeve, gone to work and is dishing out quality representation to his Constituents and even beyond his Constituency.
It is noteworthy that when other politicians are trying to settle down after the Elections, Senator Orji Uzor kalu has already gone by to work and dishing out dividends of Democracy to his people.
During one of the flag offs, Chief Emmanuel Afonne the president General of Uratta community expressed delight at the gesture of the Distinguished Senator Orji Uzor Kalu for extending his mercurial touch outside his Constituency, describing him as a once in a lifetime politician, and a gift to Abia state, he prayed God for the substance and protection of the Distinguished Senator.
Likewise Mr Okey Chigbundu an Executive Member of Shoe industrial line Ariaria, Aba, thanked the Distinguished Senator immensely and in his words ” we are not surprised that Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has extended dividend of Democracy to us who are outside his Constituency as we already know his antecedents right from when he was governor”
He further described the senator as an institution of good Performance
The story is quite the same in Ndi-Agwu Abam, Umuasua, otamkpa and Uturu and indeed across the various communities with their representatives testifying to the unprecedented and ground breaking feat of Senator Orji Uzor Kalu even as a first time senator.
