These are not the best of times for the member representing Dunukofia, Njikoka, and Anaocha Federal Constituency and the APGA Candidate for the Anambra Central Election, Hon. Dozie Nwankwo, as youths under the platform of DNA youths have threatened to commence recall proceedings against him from the House of Representatives.
The lawmaker was yesterday disowned by the youths of his constituency, who described his two-term sojourn at the National Assembly as an embarrassment and unproductive.
The youths lamented bitterly that Hon. Dozie has failed and plans are already in place to inform INEC about his recall process from the National Assembly since he no longer serves or represents their interests.
A quick assessment of his time in the House of Representatives revealed that Dozie scored zero in bills and below average in constituency projects. In fact, in the two terms of Dozie Nwankwo as member of parliament, there’s nothing to show in the three (3) Local Government Areas that make up DNA Constituency.
This was disclosed by Dr. Chinedu Umeadi, the YPP Candidate for Anambra Central Senatorial District, who convened the youths of the constituency during one of his parleys with them.
Dr. Umeadi revealed that the youths had already passed a vote of no confidence in Hon. Dozie Nwankwo, whom he said prior to his coming to represent the DNA constituency, had no track record, verifiable information about his person or source of wealth.
“Hon. Nwankwo was a Port-Harcourt based car washer when our paths first crossed. He has never been a serious or proactive person all his life. It’s unfortunate that his godfathers forced him to represent our people in the House of Representatives and are now pushing him to go to the Senate to continue his misrepresentation, and dump legislation.
Umeadi described the APGA ticket in the hands of Dozie Nwankwo as tissue paper, and that the people of Anambra Central have learnt from the lessons of DNA people and cannot allow such a mistake as Dozie’s to befall them.
The YPP candidate went on to say that the youths have confirmed that they will recall him before the next election and return him to his car wash job in Port Harcourt in the 2023 polls.
Dozie has never won any election through the ballot but through the instrumentality of the judiciary for one flimsy reason or another.
This is because the people of DNA don’t regard him as their own or fit to represent them, but overtime, he has been foisted against the wishes of the people through the court process, and with his imminent recall from the House of Representatives and the rejection that awaits him at the polls in 2023, his godfathers and co-conspirators will abandon him. Umeadi said.
It’s now considered that APGA has no candidate in the Anambra Central senatorial district with the recent rejection of Hon. Dozie Nwankwo by the youths of his constituency and possible recall.
