We live in a world programmed with time, ruled by seasons, driven by change where the past discerns the present while the present projects the future.
Mankind is governed by the age factor.How far we have come and how well we have gone is a function of the time in our lives.
Managing our age timelessly in today’s tight scheduled activities will enable us to break through generational boundaries in the pursuit of reason and value.
Regardless of origin, gender, colour, race, ethnicity, creed, background or class; our age speak volumes.
In approaching this concept “Timeless Edge”, permit me to draft a brief ideology of life.
Life is but a consequence of events, unfolding accross multiple generations.
A large than life approach is therefore necessary in utilizing time inorder to fully tap into enormous possibilities therein as life is replete with infinite potentials.
In this article, l will consciously infuse the social, physical, spiritual dimensions inorder to strike a balance.
The perfect integration of the 3 core dimensions of life is imbibed on a rare principle l call ” EMOPHYSPIRI” balance.This is the fifth dimension.
The “emophyspiri balance” states that our inbuilt inspired and deep seated emotions combined with physically expressed actions and reactions under a conditioned social climate subjected to the most intense, positive spirit controlled effects produces an optimum life balance.
There is a time beyond age and that is “Timeless Edge”.
An edge over time results to “Timeless Edge”.
Time itself is a quantity having one dimension but “Timeless Edge” is multifaceted in that time connects to age but edge connects to timelessness.
When the “A” in age which stands for “alternative” is replaced “ED” which denotes “extra dimensions”, you get the word “edge which means an extra,a plus, a breaking of bounds, a gaining of grounds, beyond the tracks, a more than and the list goes on and on.
“Timeless Edge” is about achieving anything, anywhere with no strings attached to age.lt is a succour in life’s challenges,an asset in socialization,a key in education, a virtue in religion and a solace in career.
“Timeless Edge” is not magical in nature neither is it a specifically designed activity limited to a chosen few, it is a genius of might and resolution, the end of the beginning, a never ending journey of distinction and the quest for an ever higher standard, available to seekers of it.
Ignore the limitations of age and outdo time.
In summary, l offer you five steps that would aid you towards living on a “Timeless Edge” :
– Continuous development of our spirit, soul and body.
– Renewing our mind energy
– Being an extra more
– Strategizing
– Living out your best.
Before l draw the curtains here, l leave you with a few montage of thoughts and actions that convey the magnitude and beauty of this message.
The great French Marshall Lyautey once asked his gardener to plant a tree. The gardner objected that the tree was slow growing and wouldn’t reach maturity for 100 years. The Marshall replied, “In that case, there is no time to lose; plant it this afternoon!
In other words some of the most amazing things in life develop gradually.
After all said and done, “Timeless Edge” will be about life’s rythym, purpose and meaning, about weaving together a portrait of who we were, are and will be right from the first cries of a new born to the final breath of a dying mortal, we arrive,grow, seek, procreate, achieve and depart.
Dr. Chimdi Felix lgbudu is a native of Amuzu Olokoro Umuahia South LGA of Abia State. He has a National Diploma in Accountancy from Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri Imo State.
He advanced to Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike in 2012 where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
He earned a Professional Postgraduate diploma in Customer Relationship Management from lnstitute of Customer Relationship Management in 2014.
ln 2018, He received his Master of Science degree in Business Administration also from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike.
In 2021, he bagged a Ph.D in Management (with specialization in Organizational behaviour) from lgnatuis Ajuru University of Education Rumuolemini Phortharcourt (formerly Rivers State University of Education).
He is a member of Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), Institute of Customer Relationship Management (ICRM), Institute of Business Administration and knowledge Management (IBAKAM).
He is the Author of “Timeless Edge”, St.George’s Oracles and “The Fatal Tangle”.
He co-authoured a research article in South Asian Research Journal of Business and Management, Nov – Dec 2021 edition titled ; Organizational Communication and Employee Performance in Deposit Money Banks in Nigeria.
