Disastrous! Enyimba lost again!..
It was an unpleasant afternoon as Enyimba of Aba lost to MFM football club of Lagos in a crucial encounter.
Enyimba started and ended the game on a weak and low team spirit. It was a great game and also a trilling encounter which ended on a lone goal in favor of the home team in Agege Stadium Lagos yesterday.
Speaking with one of the players, who preferred to be anonymous said.
“We are not happy and you can also see yourself that the momentum of the team is rapidly depreciating also the team spirit is dead. This is because the players and the coaching staffs are suffering from malnutrition, no good food to eat with their family, most of them can’t even afford the sum of five thousand Naira to fuel their car. We were maltreated in SouthAfrica but let me not go into that because the experience was heartbreaking. Abia state government refused to pay our salaries for over a year now. Some are owed 8,9,10 even 12 month salary and allowances which will definitely affect us mentally”
He buttress and said. “Especially me as a person, I joined Enyimba simply because of it’s rich history and how the club was managed then by the former governor in 2003 to 2007, that alone provides me the believes that am in the right football club but unfortunately, I never met my expectations”. He said.
Enyimba are 6th on the log with 27th point and 3 outstanding games at hand.
