RE-ARRAIGNED MAGU AND OTHERS TO BE FAIR IN YOUR DEALINGS-IBRAHIM BLAST EFCC.

Economic and financial crime commission (EFCC) Was established in the year 2003 by former President Olusegun Obasanjo with effort to fight money laundry. It was headed by Nuhu Ribadu.

The aforementioned body was a pinpoint and ever reliable body at the early stage of it establishment.

This body recorded so many successes, a lot of fund and properties were forfeited to the Federal Government under it watch.

The founding fathers and heads were strictly ready for anyone involved in money laundering. The body unravels so many corrupt government officials and also recorded superb successes in putting an end to criminality and any form of misappropriation of fund by anyone.

Now the then amiable and reputable Economic and financial crime commission (EFCC), has been politicized by the present day political powerhouse in witch-hunting their fellow citizens with completely different ideologies and beliefs from theirs..

The so called Economic and financial crime commission (EFCC), has been hijacked and now been biased in its operatives.

My first question is WHERE IS MAGU? the EFCC boss that was acing a slew of allegations of fraud including the diversion of recovered funds and seized assets. The devil in angelic garments, the biased and most corrupt government official of all time. He should be given award as world most corrupt government official. The appointment of Magu as the EFCC chair was brought before the Senate twice and was rejected both times.

A man that was charged with different criminal charges sometime ago has been forgotten so soon without proper investigation? Now the so called EFCC boss is freely roaming the street of Abuja without thorough checking or re-arraignment by EFCC?

Well am not surprised. THE MAGU BOYS in the EFCC will never re-arraigned their corrupt boss. The body that was established with the sole aim of fighting financial crime offenders is now been used as a weapon of witch-hunting fellow citizens.

My second question is what about Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Alpha Beta that was Accused of money laundering, fraud, tax evasion, and sundry corrupt practices by Dapo Apara a Nigerian chattered accountant. Forgotten?

This shows how weak and unreliable the EFCC are. I urge president Muhammadu Buhari to wipe out the so call MAGU BOYS In the EFCC before it’s reputation diminishes to zero level.

But, even now, the EFCC does not fight corruption on the scale that’s needed,” Damilola Adebayo, a Lagos-based policy expert, tells Zamfara reporters.

Since its inception, the EFCC has been accused of being a political tool used to target enemies of the ruling politicians in Nigeria. “A lot of institutions in Africa and Nigeria especially are not strong. The EFCC is no different and this means that rogue agents can wield power any way they choose,” explains Adebayo.

My advice to the president is to restructure the EFCC and not to listen to anyone who intention is to hunt is fellow citizen and also do away with corrupt personnels for those who are ready to serve despite their interests and pressure.

I urge the presidency to look critically into this for a better a Nigeria.
