Barely one week after the abduction of Kagara school boys in Niger State.
Gunmen have reportedly abducted 300 Students of Government Girls Secondary School, Jangebe in Talata Mafara Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
It was learnt that the schoolgirls were besieged and kidnapped within the school premises in Jangebe, in Talatu Mafara LGA, happened around 2 a.m today (Friday).
Although men of the Vigilante group in the area exchanged gunfire with the criminals, it was not enough to avert the terror.
Although details are still sketchy, sources told BBC Hausa on Friday morning that over 300 schoolgirls were abducted in the latest mass school abduction in Zamfara.
This is the fourth of such massive kidnap by terrorists in Northwest Nigeria, starting from the abduction of over 300 students from a government college in Kankara, Katsina state.
