BELLO  MATAWALLE’S TREMENDOUS ACHIEVEMENT AS A FEDERAL LEGISLATOR

Hon. Bello Matawalle had served Bakura and Maradun Federal Constituency in the National Assembly for three consecutive terms, he left no stone unturned in the area of humanitarian and community development, he played an active role in bringing an unprecedented development to the duo. Bakura and Maradun were positively transformed and creditably represented during his tenure as their representative and interestingly the voices and clamors were invariably heard as at then and positively responded to in his commitment to instill a positive impact in the masses. His keen sense of justice and fair-play speak volume in his political dynasty throughout the years of democratic dispensation in Nigeria.
The basic purpose of electing a diligent, capable and committed leader for representation in the National Assembly is to enable the electorates to swiftly and easily get access to the dividends of democracy and as well make the voices and clamors of your constituents heard in the chamber. Hon. Bello Matawalle has never deviated from the basis on which he was colossally supported and voted for, he was fortunate to carry all along in spite of party affiliation, he had played an active and indelible role for the development of the constituency.
In a nutshell, below are some of the areas on which he worked efficaciously to ensure that the people of Maradun and Bakura are not left behind in the area of societal and socio-economic development.

EDUCATION: Education being one of the major cardinal principles of a society and as well a gateway to humanitarian and societal development hence it should accorded with utmost concern and positive response.
Hon. Bello Matawalle was an astute school teacher, he knows the absolute virtues of education; he invariably decried the undermining of educational sectors in Zamfara.

He had contributed immensely to the improvement of education in both Bakura and Maradun LGAs; below are some few among the projects he executed when he was NASS member.
Construction of Cyber Cafes in Government Day Secondary School Maradun and Government Science Secondary School Bakura
Distribution of 92 computers in Bakura and Maradun
Construction of Conference Hall
Construction and rehabilitation of many Islamiyya schools in Bakura and Maradun
Payment of registration fees for the indigenes of Maradun studying in Abdu Gusau Polytechnic Talata Mafara
Distribution of 200 JAMB forms in Bakura and Maradun
Sponshorship of the projects executed by the National Association of Maradun

WATER SUPPLY: Maradun and Bakura have suffered from the dreadful scarcity of water in Maradun. Fortunately, Hon. Bello Matawalle having known fully the value of portable water supply stood firm against the menace of water scarcity and fought it successfully considering his giant strides in ensuring stable water supply had been provided in abundance.

Provision of Ambulances to Faru and Kaya PHC

EMPLOYMENT: Hon. Matawalle against all odds secured lucrative jobs for a large number of graduates in both Bakura and Maradun in several workforces of the Federal Civil Service such as;
